A UK Scholarship for international students. These scholarships are funded through the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office in addition to a number of partner organisations. Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme
Similar to the commonwealth master’s scholarship, this scheme is aimed at students from the least developed and lower-middle income commonwealth countries. They also fall under similar categories as above.

Cambridge International Scholarships
One of the UK’s most prestigious universities, The University of Cambridge offer scholarships through the Cambridge Trust. Available for the top-ranked 250 international students to receive full financial support towards their PhD study.

University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships
An extremely competitive award, offering 25 scholarships covering 50% of tuition fee costs for international students. To be eligible you must have accepted a full-time Master’s course at the University of Sussex and hold exemplary grades.

The University of West London is offering 100 scholarships worth up to £5,000 for international applicants studying at their university. These students must wish to act as ambassadors of the university and obtain an outstanding academic performance.

Marshall
Specifically for US students who show particularly strong skills in academic work or they demonstrate leadership potential to study in the UK. The scholarship only chooses 50 scholars a year, so places are limited. If you’re successful, the scholarship covers any chosen field of study. The options are limitless!

As one of the non-governmental scholarships, this is an initiative developed by the European Commission specifically providing support for researchers in Europe.
