Anthony Smith has been awarded with a PhD from a leading UK university in business economics and also has a degree in economics and business, with a strong emphasis on finance. In his masters degree he studied industrial business economics. Economic geography, institutional economics, finance, business, and business economics can be listed as some of his interests. He has also been actively researching issues regarding business economics, publishing his research at international conferences and in international journals. Furthermore, his academic activity also includes experience in teaching Higher education, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has also taught economics, business and entrepreneurship. He is proficient in using statistical software packages, such as SPSS. His academic and research skills enable him to combine qualitative and quantitative issues, which provide his papers with added value, whilst looking at topics from diverse perspectives.
