I have an Honours degree in Aerospace Technology which I achieved whilst studying in Sheffield. The course content varied with aeronautical engineering modules in each semester of the three year course being the backbone. Other modules covered related to the use of materials in aerospace applications and how systems operate on manned and unmanned spacecraft.
The aerodynamic side of subsonic and sonic aircraft was lectured and complimented with the power plant associated to provide the necessary propulsion. All the subject areas discussed were assignment based and deep research was placed into subject areas which have provided excellent background knowledge and a solid foundation to writing on areas within the aerospace industry.
In the final year of the course I used CFD software in airflow simulation to compare with historical data the effects of a changing angle of attack. This assignment is provided as an example.
