I am a full-time lecturer, course team leader and lead internal verifier in travel and tourism. My subject specialities are Travel and Tourism, the Aviation Industry and Marketing. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Compulsory Education and Training and a BA Honours Degree in International Tourism and Travel Communication. I also have various professional travel qualifications for ABTA and the Guild of Travel Management Companies. I have a wealth of experience undertaken in the travel industry up to management level. I initially worked as a Travel Co-ordinator, have been an NVQ assessor, tutoring, coaching and developing students, and have managed an on-site travel agency. My recent research interests include professional development in education, aviation, economics in an aviation context, tourism and applying marketing to any sector.
