I work as a tutor, teaching English Language modules at a Russell Group University and I have also previously worked as a researcher for another university. After having received my BA from Liverpool University, I worked in Marketing, Training & Customer Services for a number of IT companies in Scotland and London. I have an MA in Phonetics/Phonology and moved on to do a PhD on lexical variation in the UK, which I completed in 2010. During my spare time I volunteer at a local theatre, read and cycle a lot. My main interests outside my academic subjects are politics, economics and foreign countries.
