I am currently completing my dissertation for an MA in Applied Linguistics. I have been invited to present my research at a conference in the UK this summer and I aim to begin a PhD in September 2012. My first degree is in English Language and Literature, for which I was awarded a four-year scholarship. I also tutor English literature and language part-time to secondary school students and foreign students. I have experience in designing and teaching courses in English for academic purposes, and teaching Spanish to adult learners. Previously I have also worked in South America, teaching English.
