I obtained a Master’s degree specialising in Finance. Subsequently, I was recruited by Olam International, one of the leading supply chain organisations in the world. The experience I gained during the three years that I worked in the Finance Department of Olam International was extremely valuable. My job required me to interact and work with different managers who had different tastes and styles of management. I began to realise the power vested in the management position and I developed the confidence to enter the field of management. I surmised that I would need to extend my profile and therefore studied for an MBA in the UK. I completed my MBA (specialising in International Business) with merit from the University of Wales Institute of Cardiff. Since graduating, I have been in London, helping other students with their assignments and dissertations. As I have both a theoretical and a practical background, I have been able to offer sound guidance to students, helping them to attain good grades. There is a saying that says that it is by teaching or helping someone that we learn something new and also that precision is vital if a person is to be successful in his of her profession. My ambition is to obtain a doctorate in management from the UK and become a lecturer. Working with Ivory research sharpens my knowledge and will help me to identify and select a great topic for my doctorate.
