I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Information Systems Security. I had to write a dissertation to complete both degrees, and scored a distinction for both studies. My research and writing experience cuts across various subjects and is multidisciplinary in nature. I have written and researched a wide range of subjects, including: Business, IT, Information systems, Organisational strategies, and Information systems security. I have worked for almost 10 years as a freelance researcher, and this has helped me to gain both quantitative and qualitative research skills including: conducting and updating literature reviews and databases searches, mapping out themes from literature, gathering of data (be it secondary and primary), coding of data and its analysis. Additionally, one of my hobbies is reading and this has made me read widely across various ranges of subjects and theories, thereby strengthening my research skill. Furthermore, I frequently engage in the gathering of information from a wide variety of sources, and the interpretation and presentation of the same.
